New Pieces ready to go

Look for this wonderful draw-leaf antique dinning table this weekend in Geronimo. The top has been left with all the wonderful distressed chips, cinks, and onter personality marks. The draws are on either end and expands this table to seat 6 comfortably. The surface has been sealed so it is ready for work and will bring the new owner years of service. It's a nice quality antique worthy of becoming an heirloom. I do have several chair options as well. My next project is the restoration of an old Hoosier style kitchen cabinet. I will post before and after pics. Comments welcome!

The Curious Boys

Joe and Glen have brought in some really super items and the prices are wholesale. You will find all manner of wire furniture and even wicker. Their style is a bit sassy and that's fun. It is so obvious that they know what they're doing and even better they love what their doing. I am really happy the boys have set up shop next to me in the newly opened area.

Those of you who follow Woopi Jane's Thangs are very aware of the fact that I am probably among one of the biggest fans of Blue Hills Antique Mall in Geronimo. You also know that I am also a dealer there with 3 separate "shoppes". What you may not know is the fact that I also love to shop there. Things change there on a daily basis so there is always something new and different to explore. For that wonderful fact we have to blame mall owners Sherry Pate and Tex Jeffcoat and all that they do to make everyone a small business success. In today's economy, that is just magical. Got to love a bit of hAnKy & PaNky. (inside joke!)

Welcome to our little corner of Texas. Blue Hills Antique Mall is located in the small community of Geronimo which is in South Central Texas just 7 short miles west of Seguin and Interstate 10 and about 12 miles east of San Marcos & Interstate 35 on Highway 123. BLUE HILLS ANTIQUE MALL is easy driving distance from Austin, San Antonio, Houston, Corpus Christi and all points in between. There are nice overnight and weekend accommodations throughout the antiquing destination area which Geronimo is a part of. There are several shops along the one mile length of our community.

Of course, Blue Hills Antique Mall is the largest and offers the eclectic variety of our many experienced dealers. It is truly an aMaZiNg shop with several houses connected making it quite unique. This mAzE is full of wonderful rooms, cozy corners, decorated hallways all of which are full of antiques, vintage and retro treasures, unique steampunked repurposed items, elegant glassware, art, textiles, European pieces, American primitives, creative decor and all manner of collectibles. Oh yes!! There is the porch which runs the length of the front of BLUE HILLS and it is loaded with a plethora of items that will set your feet on the path to memory lane and the fun of the hunt!
